Mar Menor
The Costa Calida is situated in the south-east of the Iberian Peninsula. To the north lies the Costa Blanca and to the south lies the Costa de Almeria with a total of 250 kilometers of coastline. Blessed by the mild Mediterranean climate it has at least 315 days of sun per year.

Minimum temperatures range between 12-14ºC and maximum temperatures between 20-22ºC in winter. Summer temperatures vary between 18-20ºC minimum and between 30-35Cmaximum. The average annual temperature is 18C.

Salt Lake
The Mar Menor, Europe's largest salt water lagoon, over 170 square kilometres of shallow water surrounded by the districts of Los Urrutias, El Carmolí, San Javier, Los Alcazares and La Manga to name just a few. On the shores of the Mar Menor there are a great number of small towns with a truly traditional feel to them that are starting to build small intimate residential areas for people who look for a different way to spend time in the Sun in Spain.

Murcia Cathedral
At La Manga Club with three 18-hole courses is one of the world's great resorts. A luxurious playground has been shaped on 1400 acres of lush, rolling countryside scattered with thousands of palm trees and surrounded by lemon groves.

Cartagena is worth a special mention because of its historical interest. This town was for more than two thousand years a strategic Mediterranean port, surrounded by fortifications it encloses numerous fine archaeological remains and naval archives. The cities sea fairing history is present in every aspect of this interesting city.

Mar Menor
Mazarron is located on the South Eastern corner of Spain, to the West of the historic city of Cartagena. There are excellent road links and airports at Alicante and Murcia (San Javier - Murcia Regional Airport) offer regular flights to Europe and beyond. Mazarron boasts some of the best beaches in Spain and a wonderful climate; the area is relatively undeveloped when compared to the more popular Spanish Coastal areas and as such provides an excellent location for a peaceful family holiday.

Cove
The next town along is Bolnuevo, a peaceful town in the Mazarrón area flanked by hills and dark volcanic rock that blends with the sculptured sandstone landscape. In the Bolnuevo district, you will find a different class of holidaying and definitely a true alternative to property in Spain. On the hills around Bolnuevo there are several interesting developments taking place with an incredible price/ quality ratio that is hard to beat on any area of the Mediterranean Coast.

Mazarron
Near Mazarrón, we will find the small fishing town of La Azohía. It is tucked in at the corner of a natural bay and is bordered by spectacular mountainous backdrop of the Sierra Espuña hills that end their trail in the Mediterranean beaches of La Azohía. There are several residential properties in the area that have maintained a discreet presence in the area so as not to spoil the natural feel of the village. At the end of the village, each evening the local fishermen unload their catch and start to repair their nets.
