Villas del Palmeral is just under 10 minute drive to the beaches European blue flag beaches of Guardamar. Guardamar has always been privileged enough to have some of the most wonderful beaches on the southern Costa Blanca. These long, white sanded beaches link on to those of La Marina, all of which are surrounded by the protected Mediterranean pine tree forests.

Beaches of Guardamar worth visiting are:

as well as the clean, sandy beaches of La Marina.

The main Marina in the area is that of Guardamar. It is relatively new so its installations are quite modern or over used. The main trip people make is to Tabarca Island to visit this marine wildlife park with its reef and rare wildlife.
